Characters: Belle
 Jasper’s mother, Belle, is the epitome of motherhood.
She is docile, patient, kind and wise. She is ever calm and
is always supportive of Jasper’s new discoveries. Nothing
ever really bothers Belle. She seems to have an all-knowing
and accepting attitude toward life. If she laughs at all,
it is under her breath. She is dignified and warm—a
supportive presence. |
